Small Offices and Medium Sized Enterprises

If you already own a successful business but you want to update your systems, you've come to the right place. We have extensive up-to-date knowledge about systems integration and automation to help you manage technology transition. Unlike most companies who market a specific software application, we serve as an unbiased consumer advocate who can help you compare different products and help you choose the right tools for your unique needs. Once we've found the right tools for your business, we are here to assist you with implementation.

Some suggestions for updating your systems:

  • Determine your budget before you get started. You may be finding it hard to get an accurate quote for systems upgrading. There are several reasons for this such as: The size and scope of your business or project, the number of employees who will be using your new software, the amount of data transfer required. Furthermore, unless you are ready to make a decision and take action within the next 60 days, most companies will hold off on giving a quote. This is because technology changes so quickly that many companies will have new prodcuts and new prices every couple of months.
  • Start small. When a company updates its systems they often set a deadline by which the entire business should be running under the new model. While this is a perfectly legitimate approach, we often recommend that you start using the new system on a small scale, with just a couple of people. Treat this small team as a separate business within the larger organization. Once things are running smoothly and you fully understand what your new capabilities are, then you can expand the program. With most integration programs, you can always upgrade or expand your user license later.

    Home Office Scams

Looking to start a business from home? Maybe you already have a home-based business and you are looking for new ways to expand or market your products and services. Odds are you have already discovered that the internet has been flooded with Get Rich Quick scams. There is an abundance of Websites and Spam emails telling you that you can make thousands of dollars a week in residual income. Why is this? There are several reasons, but one of the biggest culprits is MLM - Multiple Level Marketing. MLM is not all bad. If used responsibly it can be a very powerful way to promote your product. The problem is that it often leads to Spam or makes lofty claims about how much money you can make by joining (and paying a small fee) an affiliate program. How does it work? The key word is Duplication. Among other things, what you'll get when you sign up is a free website or banner which is identical to the companies main site and feeds into their primary server. This website or link has been coded with your personal account information, so if anyone else joins and makes a purchase through your site, you will be entitled to receive commission on the sale. What this means is that you are paying the company to give you the tools and training in order to be a sales rep for the company, and the company has thousands of websites that all look the same and all sell the same thing. Again, not all of these programs are bad. The question you have to ask yourself is: Is the company selling a genuine product of value to your target market? Or are they just reselling the MLM system itself? Probably less than 5% of those who participate in a MLM affiliate program achieve any success through the program. So be careful!

Some other tips for starting a Home Office:

  • Start with a business plan. If you don't know what you want to sell, who you want to sell it to, how you plan to sell it or who your competition is....we can't help you.
  • Start Smart! The internet offers a wide variety low cost and free information and resources. We have a healthy database of great links and eBooks with resell rights. Most online stores simply resell these books at a discount price. We prefer to have a more intimate relationship with our clients. Therefore, we will negotiate an affordable service agreement with you and then give you the right books based on your objectives. This way, the information you receive will be appropriate to your objectives.
